Specialty Planning is a newly established company, so new it was established this year (2015). Although newly established, the owner, Vanessa is not new to the Wedding or Event planning world.  With a floral design background she started her love for events in high school. Vanessa helped plan her first wedding and exicuted her first wedding florals at the age 16. That experience made it love at first event and she was hooked.

 

Throughout the years Vanessa has assisted in all types of events learning new skills as she went to provide what people were in need of. She has planned, made, and organized just about everything for events. She became a one stop, go to person for family and friends and their family and friends. 

 

One day, after being asked to do another wedding; Vanessa was doing her secret happy dance that she does when asked to plan an event. Her daughter says to her "mommy if doing all this stuff for other peoples' parties makes you so excited and happy why isn't this your job?" After a lot of thinking - why isn't it? Vanessa took the leap and graduated from college with a degree in wedding planning. 

 

After a great deal of research, soul searching and some secret happy dancing Specialty Planning was established. So welcome to Specialty Planning!
